2014 Sienna

Hello, I own a 2014 Sienna LE. Over the past week, I’ve noticed that sometimes it takes longer to start, the engine cranks for several seconds before finally turning on. I recently replaced the air filter, and I checked the battery voltage, which reads 12.38V or 12.39V. Just wondering what could be causing this issue? Thank you.

Hey @siddiqir, welcome to the forum. I believe your battery voltage is a bit on the low side, especially if it’s the original or a few years old. That's my first suspect. Also worth checking the starter and fuel pump if it keeps happening, have you noticed if it’s worse on cold starts?
