2025 navigation system improved or no?

Tested the 2025 Sienna's cloud based navigation system vs Waze on a about a 200+ miles road trip curious if Toyota had improved it from the past years. While the initial route and time estimates were almost same, they diverged with traffic. I usually use waze, but I tried the Sienna's system since it offered a faster route in heavy traffic. It ended up sending me on a slow service road detour. There were some instances where the Sienna's detours added mileage without significantly improving arrival time. While I liked the Sienna's turn by turn information displayed between the gauges, i still loved waze's police alerts and its accurate stop and go traffic time estimates. Bottomline, Waze felt more reliable for me.

I'm not using siena's cloud based navigation system bcs it's often wrong. I always use Waze

Siena cloud nav is improved and it has nice integrations and visuals but still, Waze is better for real-time traffic, smarter detours and police alerts.

Appreciate the thorough test. Although it sounds like Toyota's navigation system has improved, Waze's real-time accuracy and alerts still seem to be superior. However, the gauge display is a nice addition. For the time being, I would probalby continue using Waze for heavy traffic and only use the Sienna system for the most basic tasks
