Mats from WeatherTech

We just got our 2022 Sienna Limited AWD and as a longtime WeatherTech mat user, I bought them right away... Only to find they limit the captain's chairs' travel, I trimmed the flaps to restore its full movement, likely needed due to molding constraints. No issues at all so far, but I might add something to secure the flaps if we slide the seats forward for third row access.

Good job on trimming the flaps. I did the same a while back and it made so much difference. What I did was add some Velcro strips to keep them from curling when we slide the seats. Maybe try that?

I've never been a massive fan or rubber mats, so what was the moment you decided you needed to get a set? Also, what are the cons to going with rubber mats in general, not just WeatherTech

Good question, Ive not analyzed it much but ever since we tried it, we loved it and thought it would be something standard to us.

+1 on this! i found adding strong velcro on the underside of the trimmed flaps and the floor really helpful! i also know a guy who would swear by using automotive-grade double-sided tape.

They're practical because they're extremely easy to clean and dry. Apart from that, there's no other advantage really. They don't look premium, aren't soft, look like an afterthought and so on.
