Winter warning lights on my 2022 Sienna

I bought my 2022 Sienna brand new with only 24k miles and every winter, especially below 35°F, I get a flood of warning lights: "Brake Power Low," "Parking Support Malfunction," "Pre-Collision Malfunction," and a few other, it drives fine though but I am wondering if anyone else seen this happen?

Yeah thats actually a pretty common issue in cold weather. Its usually caused by low battery voltage or some sensors acting up when it's freezing cold in an area. Even if it drives fine, I'd suggest you get the battery and connections checked, especially if it's the original one or the stock. Dealers sometimes have software updates for this too, so it's worth asking

Thanks, that makes sense, I'll get the battery and connections tested, still on the original. I'll also check with the dealer about any software updates

That's definitely concerning, those warnings could mask real issues if something does go wrong, I'd worry about a failing 12V battery or moisture in sensors

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking too. I haven't replaced the 12V yet, so I'll start there and check for moisture buildup around the sensors

Oh no is this common? It actually happened to me last winter too. I swapped in a new battery and did a quick software update with the dealer. All good

Is there like a specific battery for cold seasons? And can you share more about the update?

had this issue before, and this is true. The cold weather and a battery related issue are usually the root cause of these warnings. besides checking the battery, make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. A loose or corroded connection can also cause voltage fluctuations that trigger these warnings
