New toyota sienna is easily dent

My dad bought a new Toyota Sienna and complained in the morning that he had found a dent on the car.

I looked at it, and there it is, a small dent there.

I just remember that I took the car to the grocery store and dented it.

I successfully popped it back out and left only a little dent that I will fix using a hair dryer later

My point is tht, does anyone here notice that the body panels are really easy to dent, like a cookie tin can?

A football dented mine just a week ago lol. Its not as durable as it looks.

Backed slightly into a parking lot corner and it got dented too. not as durable as it should, eh?

@WhenTheMusicOver that's one "oops" moment right there, I wonder what would your dad say if he knew that you were the one who dented it lol. but, for the thin body panels, yeah, modern car manufacturers often use thinner gauge steel to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency (or maybe to reduce production cost) idk. but it is common

Haha, I can totally relate to that 'don't tell dad' moment. Those sneak-attack situations always catch you off guard, right? And yeah, those super thin materials are popping up everywhere now. Good for mpg, bad for oops moments
