Found a few parts in my used Sienna

My neighbour bought a used sienna and found parts that he doesn't recognize. There are numbers on it: 53851-08020

the previous owner doesn't want anything to do with it. does anyone know what this is? The parts seem new, it's still in a sealed plastic

Damn. This is why you need to take EXTRA caution when buying secondhand. I did buy a secondhand 2015 Sienna and the parts are all good. I think that part (a quick Google search brought me to it) is the front wheel opening extension pad. Dunno if that's correct.

That part number checks out. It's a front wheel opening extension pad for a Sienna. If it's still sealed, it's likely an unused replacement piece. No harm in holding onto it in case it comes in handy down the road. Has your neighbor figured out what to do with it yet?
